And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more? – Dr Suess

Christmas is not in tinsel and lights and outward show. The secret lies in an inner glow. It’s lighting a fire inside the heart. Good will and joy a vital part. It’s higher thought and a greater plan. It’s glorious dream in the soul of man. – Wilfred A. Peterson
The Gift of Giving Leave a comment
There was a story on the news about someone going to make a layaway payment on their Christmas gifts and finding out that someone had anonymously paid it off. Wow, what a nice story of Christmas spirit and generosity. We tend to pay so much attention to the hustle and bustle of everyday life and our daily trials that we miss the blessings around us. I challenge everyone to cherish all the small blessings in their lives and to do one random act of kindness. The act could be helping a neighbor carry in groceries, folding your brothers laundry, giving a coat to a homeless person.. etc.. you get the idea.
